The Hollies - Reviews

  • Paul - Wells 15th February 2020

    Our stay February, 2020

A home from home,in one neat tidy package

  • Steve - Lower Gornal 3rd October 2019

    Our stay September, 2019

Property was ideally located about 10 minutes walk from Charlestown. Charlestown is a very picturesque small harbour village with two tall ships in dock, was used regularly during the filming of the TV series Poldark, and contains several good eating places. The Hollies is a relatively new property situated next door to the two owners who could not be more friendly and obliging. The furnishings were second to none, and despite non stop rain throughout our 3 night stay we could not recommend the place more highly

    Our stay August, 2019

Great accommodation with everything we needed, really well equipped, super clean and very comfortable. Good outside space, great bathroom with a fantastic powerful shower and lots of fluffy towels, comfy bed, perfect. The owners, Terry and Bim, are super warm and friendly, nice touches like milk and lovely biscuits make for a warm welcome. The place is located brilliantly with easy access to the main routes around Cornwall. Heligan is just down the road, the Pinetumn gardens around the corner are lovely and do fantastic food.
