Church Hill Cottage - Facilities

Overlooking the historical Lanteglos church, this detached cottage would suit a family or friends looking for a peaceful location, and has the benefit of a large garden. There is a cosy wood burner in the kitchen/dining room and an open fire in the living room. There is also a ground floor bedroom which has a single bed and an additional pull-out double bed option, which is on the same level as the master bathroom. Upstairs are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with a kingsize bed; these bedrooms share an en-suite shower room. If flexibility is required, there is a choice of either a single futon in the dressing room, or a sofa bed in the living room, so this property is able to accommodate all types of configuration. If you are bringing your pet, a pet bed and blanket are available on request.
Just up the lane is the golf club, which has a bar and restaurant, and the A39 is just a few minutes back through the village, making amazing coastline very accessible for exploring. The fantastic seaside village of Port Isaac, well known as the location of the TV series ’Doc Martin’, is just 8 miles away, and Trebarwith Strand is less than 5 miles away. Tintagel and Boscastle are just a little further along the coast. Beach 5 miles. Shop 2 miles, pub and restaurant ½ mile.

Great cottage, great quiet location and easy to get to the main attractions.

We had a lovely time at Church Hill Cottage. The property was more than big enough for the 4 of us and the two pups. The kitchen was very well equipped and we all agreed the beds were the most comfortable things we've ever slept in! We had two vehicles and had plenty of space to fit them both outside, and we found the slightly more off the beaten track location to be perfect and town wasn't too far away for topup shops. The fire places were a lovely touch and made the cottage feel very cosy in the evenings. We enjoyed the random selection of DVD's to watch and added a few for future guests. We would defiantly stay again and would recommend to friends and family.
