Trelispen Lodge is a comfortable and cosy modern, detached lodge in a peaceful woodland setting, and makes the perfect romantic hideaway for couples all year round. Designed with both families and friends in mind, the property offers a welcoming open plan living space and two bedrooms each boasting en-suite facilities. With a wide decked area, atmospheric lighting and private hot tub, you can relax and watch the stars in a secluded and tranquil setting.
Conveniently located for exploring West Cornwall, including the historic town of Marazion and Mounts Bay, with its wide sandy beach. St Michaels Mount, perched on its rocky outcrop, is just a few minutes’ drive away, and can be reached on foot at low tide or by small ferry boat at high tide. There are plenty of pretty local beaches to explore, as well as fishing towns and the quaint village of Mousehole, which all make this area popular with visitors. Spend the summer months on your choice of sandy beach, bathing under the sun, and in the winter months, cosy up in front of the wood burner or sit back and relax in the bubbling hot tub. There is plenty to see nearby including Praa Sands, Porthleven and The Minack Open Air Theatre which overlooks the sea. Beach 1½ miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 1 mile.

The perfect girls getaway! We had a lovely time and didn’t want to leave. Thank you to Neil and Tracey for the little added touches of scones and fresh bread! The lodge is just perfection and has everything you need. We are already getting dates together to return next year!

Aaamazing!! Absolutely bliss break, so fab, flowers, scones, clotted cream, jam, extremely comfortable beds, lovely hot tub, beautifully restful location. We’re not keen to share this excellent find, in case we can’t get a last minute break again but feel the owners deserve the highest accolade for their hard work.

I brought my boyfriend away for his birthday and we were not disappointed. This place definitely has the wow factor. You never know what to expect with a lodge,some are well equipped and some just cover the basics. Well trelispen lodge covered everything, we had scones with cream and jam waiting for us on arrival. There was milk in the fridge, home made rolls and biscuits provided. All the cutlery, kitchen utensils, cleaning products you could want. The lodge was spotless, the guest book was really helpful for finding things to do, places to eat, nearby amenities etc. We really didn't want to leave, the log fire and the hot tub were a total luxury. The location was lovely for a quiet, relaxing get away. I couldn't fault it in any way. We will be back!

Was a wonderful weekend away to celebrate my husbands 50th birthday. Wanted somewhere to shut us away from the world and just relax and it was just that. The welcome treats were a lovely touch. Was so happy to have a Xmas tree as well. Every comfort and homeliness was thought of. We booked fri-mon and only went out one day and spent the rest of our time shut away, it felt like we were the only people on earth which with our busy lives was heaven. Would highly recommend a stay here. Very close to the coast and small drive to marazion, st ives, Falmouth for days out and things to do but far enough away from the hustle and bustle to relax also. Loved it and didn’t want to leave.

Trelispen Lodge is absolutely fantastic. Perfect for a winter break, though I imagine it’s perfect in the summer too! Beautifully done up, everything has been thought of, lovely owners, comfortable beds, spotlessly clean, snuggle up with the wood burner on or in the gorgeous hot tub. We’ve already booked to go again.

Absolutely fantastic lodge, The owners thought of everything. Loved the clotted cream scones on arrival. Also the bread. It was a lovely touch. We had a power cut on the day after we arrived. Due to weather. The owners could not do enough for us. Brought a camping stove up kettle and lights. Marazion is a lovely place to visit. Lots to do. Lovely beaches. Hot tub was absolutely fantastic even in the rain. Lots of wild life to see while sitting outside, or inside. I would highly recommend the lodge. We will definitely be returning.

My girlfriend and I had the most wonderful stay. We came down for our anniversary and were spoiled with the fireplace, hot tub and a lovely welcome package with home made scones and bread rolls which went down a treat! We would absolutely stay here again as it was so tranquil and well equipped. Slept like a log in the super king sized bed. Everything was just wonderful. We felt so cosy. 10/10!

Beautiful lodge in a perfect location for visiting some wonderful places. The accommodation was extremely comfortable and is furnished to a very high standard. We loved relaxing in the hot tub in the evening after a day of exploring Cornwall. We would highly recommend Trelispen Lodge as a place to stay.

We have stayed in a lot of properties all over Britain and this is one of the best we have ever stayed in. The rural location was perfection to our family! From Sitting in the hot tub at night listening and observing owls, bats and other wildlife, to seeing a clear sky full of stars because there was no light pollution. It was close enough to Penzance to access shops and get supplies but far enough away to enjoy the tranquility of the area. The cabin was very well presented, everything you needed had been supplied including the best welcome basket we have ever seen. (My daughter still asks to go back for the cobs and scones.) Have no issues at all with giving this lodge full marks and if I could give more I would, it is that good. P.s use the green lighting at night as well when you’re in the hot tub, makes the atmosphere even more amazing.

Beautiful lodge and surroundings! Stayed 7 nights and this was the ideal base for exploring the area. Comfy beds and had everything we needed. Kids loved the Hot Tub and watching the wildlife. Local pub food is also really good! (Tried 3 and was not dissapointed with any of them).

The lodge is perfectly located in the most idyllic spot within easy reach of the coast and local pubs offering excellent food. It’s spotlessly clean and so well equipped the owners really have thought of everything. Lovely to relax in the hot tub at the end of a busy day. We went in summer but can imagine it’s also lovely in winter with the cosy log burner.

Wow what a fantastic lodge. Exceptionally clean, well equipped with a large hot tub and log fire for cosy nights in. Unexpected gifts of freshly baked rolls, biscuits, scones, with jam and clotted cream left for us by the owners. Even a vase of fresh flowers in the lounge. Highly recomended.
