This delightful, reverse level holiday property is the perfect romantic getaway for couples looking for somewhere special all year round. Complete with a glass balcony with stunning views to the beach and St Michael’s Mount, it is peacefully located within easy walking distance to the historic town of Marazion, perfect for visiting art galleries, curiosity shops, tea rooms, local delicatessens, restaurants and pubs. The wide sweeping beach of Mounts Bay is overlooked by St Michael’s Mount perched high on its rocky island. This is open to the public and can be reached on foot by causeway at low tide, or by small ferry boat at high tide. Ideal for water sports enthusiasts with kite surfing, wind surfing and sailing on the doorstep. The beach is perfect for those who love to swim and relax on a glorious sandy beach. The cottage is equally appealing in the winter months, take a wind swept stroll along the glorious beach.
Marazion and Penzance are steeped in history, or take the scenic coastal train from nearby St Erth to St Ives, with its picturesque harbour, cafes, restaurants and The Tate Modern and Barbara Hepworth Museum. Visit the quaint harbour towns of Newlyn and Mousehole, and the romantic open air Minack Theatre is just a short drive away, built in to the cliff face overlooking the beautiful beach at Porthcurno, with stunning performances throughout the year. Surf at Sennen beach or walk along the glorious white sandy beach or cliff top to Lands End. Fishing is available locally, and the area is popular for bird watching with the marshes at Marazion and Hayle attracting bird and wildlife enthusiasts from around the world. This was an amazing property to stay at with the most beautiful view especially the sunset over St Michael's Mount from the balcony. The cottage was clean, well equipped and the modern styling was comfortable too. We appreciated all the little extras on arrival. This was our first visit to Cornwall and we couldn't have been happier with our choice. The dogs loved it too. The hot tub was a bonus and great to chill out after all our walking.

We had the best long weekend here celebrating our wedding!! The hot tub was an added bonus and the extra touch of fresh flowers and scones, Jam and clotted cream was enjoyed throughly after our long journey there! Already recommended to family!!

Had another lovely holiday at Beachcomber Cottage. Great location, peaceful yet lots of facilities nearby and a good base for exploring Cornwall. The cottage itself is spotless and has everything you could ask for for a really enjoyable break.

The cottage is well equiped & has a nice position just outside Marizon. There is ample parking at the property. It is a mid terrace house. The balcony does have a side view of St Michaels Mount, but this is over the adjoining balcony & it is overlooked by 3 others directly. We were notified 2 days before travelling ( for the May half term week) that building work was taking place to neighbouring house- to their kitchen with a cement mixer. We were offered to cancel or take £100 compensation from owner. Hobsons choice in that week. The adjoining house was obviously having long term building work & we were unable to be in during the final days due to chipping of render & noisy rerendering to whole house. We made the best of this (& chatted with the builders from the hot tub!). Not really the relaxing break we thought we had booked.

Lovely clean warm welcoming cottage . Just on the edge of the village rather than central. Beautifully presented with the bonus of a hot tub. Very useful after a days walking the coastal paths
