Spindrift - Facilities

Set on the unspoilt Lizard Peninsula, this holiday property is part of a complex, which has been converted from a fine Edwardian hotel. It enjoys an outstanding location on Chynhalls Point, with magnificent views out to sea. Amid large, attractive gardens and grounds, this property enjoys a sandy beach and shared outdoor tennis court. Guests can enjoy wonderful coastal walks in this beautiful, peaceful area, which is protected by the National Trust. The path leads down to the fishing village of Coverack, with its shops, restaurants and pub. Here you can enjoy sandy and shingle beaches, deep sea fishing and wind-surfing lessons, all within ½ mile. Visit Roskillys Farm, famed for their cream and ice cream, or visit Goonhilly satellite station, 3 miles. The Mullion 18-hole golf course is 9 miles away, and there are plenty of coves and beaches within easy reach. An excellent site for bird watching and rare wild flowers. This is a well-placed holiday base from which to explore.

We have had a lovely holiday at Spindrift. The location is superb and views beautiful. We will definitely use it again.

Absolutely superb. Loved apartment location was amazing with breath taking views. Would recommend only people who like uphill walks to take this one unless they drive up and down but we really loved. Coverack was perfect for us and as I say accommodation was brilliant highly recommend.

Views were spectacular Seals were regular visitors to the local bay and kept us under observation whenever we climbed down. Local village, Coverack, was easy walking distance away with several eateries and active small fishing harbour. Access roads were narrow and approached with care so motoring in area was restricted

Beautiful views in which you can see seals in the sea. Coverack is unspoilt and peaceful. Enjoyed the tennis court and recommend the local sculpture park and fish and chips at the Old Lifeboat Station in Coverack. The coastal footpath is beautiful. Very generous welcome pack on arrival. Everything we needed was provided. We would love to return.

Headland hotel location as good as ever. Not been in spindrift before. Lovely size apartment very clean and new looking. lovely welcome pack. We love coverack for all the local pubs restaurant and unspolit local fishing village. Unusual sculpture park on top of the cliff is also amazing. Lovely quiet relaxing holiday

  • Tom - Plymouth 8th May 2019

    Our stay April, 2019

A beautiful sea view, if a little out-of-the-way, and a very comfortable apartment. A nice little bonus that we were left a cream tea and some sparkling wine to make our first day extra-special too!

  • Jeff - Wigan 28th February 2020

    Our stay February, 2020

Lovely apartment, stunning views of the sea and Coverack village. Welcome gifts of Prosecco and cream tea well received and a lovely touch, going up 2 flights of stairs with luggage etc is tough but so worth it once you see the views, 2nd time here and we’ll be back
