Rosewater Lodge - Facilities

This detached, pet-friendly holiday lodge has been tastefully furnished and is just a short walk from the quaint Cornish village of St Teath, with its village pub and store. There is a decked veranda with country views, which is ideal for a morning coffee or alfresco dining. There are a variety of walks from the lodge, and you are ideally placed to visit some of the many attractions that this area has to offer, including many sandy, surfing beaches. A short drive away is the fishing village of Port Isaac, made famous by the TV series ’Doc Martin’, Tintagel, the mythical home of King Arthur, and the small harbour village of Boscastle. Padstow, with its array of shops, pubs and restaurants, including Rick Stein’s fish restaurant, is close by. From Padstow, you can take a ferry across to Rock to sample the many watersports, or cycle or walk along the Camel Trail to Wadebridge and beyond. Beach 3 miles. Shop 700 yards, pub 500 yards, restaurant 1½ miles.

Just back from another wonderful stay at Rosewater Lodge. Found this place a few years ago and return at least twice every year. Ideally placed for touring Cornwall. Not really for families with children but ideal for couples who enjoy peace and quiet. The village has a shop butchers cafe and pub...what more could you want? The lodge itself is spotless warm and comfortable and has a well equipped kitchen should you want to cook. Camelford has the best Fish and Chip Shop in Cornwall and a variety of other takeaways and is only a 3 mile drive. I would recommend this lodge to anyone...it's perfect!

This is the most relaxing and refreshing holiday that we have had for a very long time! Just ideal for us and our border collie. We had plenty of space but it may be a bit squashed for four adults. The manager, Maureen is very friendly and helpful, she even left us a bottle of milk in the fridge.

A long way from anywhere, what a shame there isn't anything nearer or even a shop on the actual park. Wont be back.

Lovely cosy cottage in a fabulous location for visiting Cornwall. The local beaches are beautiful and dog friendly. Daymer and Bossiney Bay worth a visit. Enjoyed Padstow, Port Issac and Boscastle.

Lodge was clean and was well equipped. However the external pictures are not a true reflection as there are lodges around the lodge that are not on the photos which are there now.

very quiet village but quite central to all the main beaches we wanted to visit, the holiday park itself was lovely and quiet and the residents were very friendly, we had everything we needed in the lodge and an enclosed garden so letting my dog out was stress free, even at 4am. The owner was lovely, I left some of my sons clothes and she posted them back to me, so very kind. We will be going back next year.

This was our 3rd visit to the lodge, sadly it wasn’t as great as in previous years & is starting to be a bit tired. It was covered in dog hair, probably because the Hoover isn’t very effective. We have a dog, but felt we needed to clean everything as soon we arrived.

  • Antony - Inkberrow Worcestershire 16th March 2019

We have stayed at Rosewater Lodge on several occasions. It's ideally placed being only a short walk from the village and only a short drive to the coast....Port Isaac and Padstow just a few miles away. Beautiful countryside with great walks for the dog. The lodge itself is clean and very comfortable..it has everything you need for a peaceful holiday. We especially like that there is no shop or clubhouse on the site which adds to the peace and tranquility.
