Fantastic views and location, McKenzie is a modern family house just great for a family holiday and access to the beach. There are fantastic sea views and ample living accommodation for six guests. McKenzie has reversed level accommodation with the living room, kitchen and dining room on the top floor to take full advantage of the great views. There are high ceilings at the top of the house with comfortable sofas. It makes perfect accommodation for a family holiday being located along a quiet road away from traffic. The balcony with slate tiles, outdoor table and chairs provides an ideal place to relax with a drink and enjoy the views over Portscatho and out to sea. From the living room there is a door into the luxury kitchen/dining room with granite worktops. An oak dining table with six chairs provides more than ample room for everyone. The entrance hall with plenty of room to leave your coats and shoes leads up to the bedrooms. The master bedroom has a double bed and en-suite shower room with toilet. The second bedroom is a twin and the third bedroom has bunk bed. There is a family bathroom with shower over the bath. In the garage there is a shower room to allow sandy wet suits to be washed off and a washing machine.
Portscatho is a traditional fishing village based around a small harbour. It is well served with a general local store which now has the post office inside, a butchers, galleries and a gift shop.
