Clifton House if a four bedroomed period detached property located in the popular seaside village of Portscatho. The ground floor comprises of the entrance hall with stairs to the first floor. Two reception rooms with sea views, a spacious dining room which leads to the kitchen. There is also a ground floor single bedroom with a separate shower. First floor has three bedrooms along with a family bathroom plus a separate toilet. Rear courtyard area with side access allowing storage for surfboards or water sport equipment. There is an outbuilding with separate freezer and tumble dryer.
Location Nestled on the Roseland Penninsular is this fine village. The sloping hill down to the waters edge gives nearly all of Portscatho un-interrupted wonderful breathtaking views of the Cornish coast. Having this high vantage point you can see for miles upon miles of the ragged and stunning coastline. Enjoy a Cornish pint of ale in the local pub or a hot chocolate and slice of cake in the café or how about a gin and tonic and some freshly caught Cornish fish for supper in the local restaurant.
Adjoining Porscatho is the smaller village of Gerrans. Here can be found the largest Primary School as well as the very interesting Heritage Centre. Learn more about where gig racing came from and why it’s still so popular, and why old farming methods are still used to this very day. Take the cliff path north out of Portscatho and in under 20 minutes you’ll be standing on the beautiful Porthcurnick beach. At low tide Porthcurnick has acres of flat sand perfect for games of cricket but you might have to wade a fair way to get a decent swim!. It is a National Trust owned beach and toilet facilities are available. Further east still are Carne beach and Pendower beach which at low tide join to form an even bigger expanse of sand where dogs are allowed all year round.
