This is our 4th time staying here we absolutely love it

Despite dire weather warnings we had a lovely week. The cottage was truly a home from home with everything you could need . The bed was extremely comfortable and the kitchen very well equipped. Having a private parking space was also a bonsai. The outside decking area is great ,making what could otherwise be an inaccessible garden very user friendly. Lovely to be able to sit outside listening to the stream and birds, and good facilities to be able to eat outdoors too. Our first port of call on arrival was the Boscastle Farm Shop (as always!!). Excellent food and wonderful views if able to sit outside. Trebarwith Strand and St. Nectans Glen also places not to be missed. We discovered the Rebel cinema in Bude on one of the more inclement days which is a lovely hidden gem, very traditional, making a lovely change to some overpriced modern chains!!! Also a big thumbs up to The National Trust who now actually allow dogs into their coffee shop in Boscastle.

Ivy cottage is just stunning, it was very clean and tidy and had everything you would ever need and so much more, which includes the amazing sun decking which we made the most of at the end of each day to relax on the sun loungers and enjoy the last of the afternoon sunshine with a ice cold beer, having spent each day hiking different parts of the Cornish coastal paths :-). And Boscastle is the most magical place to visit and where me and the wife have enjoyed the holiday of a life time, and as it was the first time my wife of 3 years and it was our anniversary has visited Cornwall she can't wait to go back. So thank you to the owners of ivy cottage it was just amazing.

  • David - Newbury 27th June 2019

    Our stay June, 2019

Excellent property. Very clean (unlike some others we have stayed in). The new decking area provides a lovely suntrap. Beds and sofas very comfortable and having Amazon Prime TV is a great extra. Our only criticism is that during mid summer the morning light is too bright in the bedrooms. Thicker blinds/curtains or blackout blinds would be a good addition.

  • Janine - Westgate, Kent 8th June 2019

    Our stay June, 2019

Lovely cozy cottage set in a perfectly quiet and beautiful harbour village of Boscastle. Very quaint and typically English village with local shops and bakeries, fish and chips and pubs/restaurants. The cottage is very spacious but so cozy and comfortable and clean.

Lovely cottage which was well equipped. You have to get used to the narrow road and walking up hill. A good base for seeing the area

Perfect cottage in a fabulous location. Everything you could want and more. Might be worth mentioning the steep hill, which wasn't an issue for us, but could be for some other people to walk up. Thanks for sharing your wonderful cottage with us and we'll be back soon.
