The beaches of Watergate Bay and great surf is close by, as are the quaint coves of Porthcothan and the amazing stretches of golden sand at Constantine Bay and Harlyn Bay. Wadebridge, an inland riverside town, is a must with great local shops and pubs, great restaurants and cafés which line the streets of this ancient town. The Camel Creek Adventure Park is very close to The Stable. This is a family friendly experience with rides and farm animals making a great day out.
There are many golf clubs on the north coast of Cornwall from St Enedoc Golf Club to The Point at Polzeath and Merlin Golf Club which is at Mawgan Porth.
