Meadow Cottage - Reviews

Had a great time at Meadow Cottage. Quiet location on the edge of a family farm, huge garden which is well kept. Cottage was spotlesly clean and cosy. Kitchen well equiped and beds comfortable. Just like home from home. Highly recommend this cottage.

On the whole we had a lovely stay in Meadow, Cottage, one week 4-12 October 2019. The cottage itself was cosy and warm, very clean and an abundance of hot water. The double bed we slept in was really comfy. The downside was it’s location, in that to get to any major road you needed to go down some very narrow one car tracks, very muddy and uneven, with very few passing points, one day we came across the dustbin lorry which proved a real stressful problem for us at the time, so we felt we would not like to travel along these lanes at night. So a minor criticism I would state would be to provide some DVD’s in the cottage for the evenings, the TV was good but we struggled some nights to find a decent film to watch. I know these will seem minor details to pick up on, but I feel they are worth mentioning. Sorry we didn’t take any photos of the cottage...

We loved staying in meadow cottage. Set in a picturesque and rural location on a working farm suited us perfectly, the gentleman who looked after the cottages was helpful, friendly and not at all intrusive. We holidayed with friends who stayed in the adjoining cottage and this was ideal for us having a shared garden for the children to play in which was a very generous size. I struggled to dry washing at times as the weather wasnt great and felt it would have benefited from having a tumble dryer but otherwise all facilities were great. The cream tea on arrival was lovely too. I would definitely book to stay here again.

We spend as a family wìth 5 people a wonderful week at the cottage. The cottage is beautiful, good located and very Clean. The only thing we missed was a proper place were we could eat outside with 5 people. The table outside is only suitable for 4 people, but this is really minor. The owner is very friendly and it is a great place to stay.

We had the most excellent holiday, the accommodation was wonderful - comfortable, well furnished and the washing machine was an added bonus after days at the beach. The location is ideal and within a short drive to lots of gorgeous beaches and local attractions but being hidden away gives a nice bit of tranquility at the end of the day. The garden was also excellent and our toddler never tired of running around it. Most importantly we got such a friendly welcome which makes all the difference and really enjoyed watching daily farm life going on around us. We would definitely stay again.
