A fantastic cottage & a warm welcome. Such a beautiful location, extremely well equipped, comfortable & spotlessly clean. We cannot wait to visit again.

Everything about our stay couldn’t have been better, other than the weather of course! We would certainly recommend this cottage, the location is amazing the cottage is really comfortable and the owners were very welcoming.

Once again a lovely stay at Stanhope Cottage. It is spotlessly clean and there is everything you need in the cottage for a comfortable stay. Amazing views to the coastal path from the cottage and plenty of walking straight from the cottage. Tracey and Bernie are wonderful hosts. Looking forward to our stay next year.

  • Graham - West Bromwich 12th September 2019

    Our stay September, 2019

This is the perfect cottage if you’re looking for marvellous views, peace and quiet and excellent comfort. Tracy, our host was very friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The cottage has everything we needed for a self catering stay. It is warm, spotlessly clean and modern in decor. It is located a few yards from the South West Way, and the National Trust Levant Mine. A must for walkers. Because there no street lights the view of the stars is amazing. There is a Costcutter in the village, but a 30 minute drive into Penzance provides a choice of the thee national supermarkets. There a three pubs in the village, and another a lovely 30 minute walk along the coastal path to Botallack. Would recommend this accommodation very highly.

A perfect location for coastal path walks and a peaceful holiday with stunning views and sunsets. Tracey and Bernie were excellent hosts and our arrival to a homemade cream tea and wine was amazing. We can't recommend Stanhope Cottage enough. Loved every minute!

We had a fabulous time at Stanhope cottage. Tracey and Bernie made us feel extremely welcome. The Prosecco, cream teas and lovely flowers were a nice touch. The house and garden is beautiful. Everything you need is there and the views are amazing. The only thing I didn’t like was the memory foam mattress , but that is just personal preference. Tracey and Bernie were always on hand if we needed anything and would check we were Ok if they saw us ( they live next door). We went to St Michaels Mount which is a must and we had a go on the sky wire at the Eden Project which was an experience. The fish and chip shop in Pendeen (Lil,s) is scrumptious. Mousehole was very quant and the ice cream there was lovely. We also went to the Minack theatre which we enjoyed. We had a trip to Land’s End where the scenery was outstanding. Overall we had a fantastic holiday at Stanhope cottage and hope to return next year. ?

An excellent cottage with lovely views. Owners on hand if you need them but also very sensitive to your privacy. The cream tea on arrival was a lovely touch and really appreciated after a long journey. There are obviously many repeat guests-and for good reason. We will also be returning.

The cottage is situated down a quiet lane with lovely views of the sea and coast line. You can walk along the coastal path from the house and there is a lovely pub in the next village called the Queen's Arms. It is a great place to take young children as there sis so much to do in the area
