Sowenna - Reviews

    Our stay August, 2019

Excellent location, fantastic view over Mevagissey, Tom is a genial host.

  • Martina - Essex 23rd August 2019

    Our stay August, 2019

Unfortunately this flat was very outdated. The beds were as old as I was, uncomfortable. No extra amenities like a washing machine, iron or ironing board were available. The owner looked at us every time we drove in to the property. Very uncomfortable. On the plus side ... the view was spectacular.

Tom is such a pleasant and lovely gentleman. He is so welcoming and cannot do enough for you. Will definitely be staying again.

    Our stay June, 2019

Stunning views , beautifully kept gardens. The owner Tom is real character, and still leading a very active life, he is friendly and helpful, and guests would love his life story. It is a fifteen or twenty minute walk to Megavissey, the village has plenty of shops, pubs and eating places, and the property is very convenient for sightseeing, being only a couple of miles to the Lost Gardens of Heligan and about a dozen to the EdenProject

  • Ann - Pevensey 21st May 2019

    Our stay May, 2019

Lovely cottage situated above Mevagissey Harbour. The views are stunning. It is a 15 minute walk downhill to the village (takes a bit longer to return up the hill!). The cottage is ample for 2 people to live quite comfortably and is perfect for exploring Cornwall. The owner, is very friendly and helpful. He was very happy to put the heating on for us when we asked him. The weather was particularly cold when we stayed. He went the extra mile for us when he parcelled up and posted some clothes that we had left behind in a drawer. We wouldn't hesitate to return to Sowenna.
