Polgarth - Reviews

  • Emma - Leicester 23rd September 2019

    Our stay September, 2019

A beautiful cottage in a fantastic location. The pictures really don't do it justice. Really well kitted out. Absolutely perfect to wander into Port Isaac. Parking for two cars. It would have been nice if the patio was slightly larger but otherwise perfect. I will definitely be coming back.

    Our stay June, 2019

The downstairs of this house was tired and looked grubby, slate floor covered in dust and hairs with cobwebs in corners. House keeper verging on rude when phone to complain about the state of the downstairs and the WiFi hub not working. The shower cubicle door was not working properly and leaked onto kitchen floor below. Even when handyman? sent round found the door still off its runners. When it rained the plastic roof of the utility leaked causing a large puddle, afterwards it smelt damp after being shut up whilst out all day. Steps to back door very steep, narrow and potentially lethal with asbestos roof sticking out into your path. Washing line but no pegs. Grossly overpriced, no hair dryer, towels, kitchen roll, dish cloth etc, etc, we had to go out buy toilet rolls & washing up liquid etc, etc. If you book this place you will need to take everything including the kitchen sink. Owned and run by a mean spirited, tight fisted people. CANNOT RECOMMEND AT ALL.
