Needs a bit of updating. Great views from bungalow. Great location.

Views were second to none. Facilities were what you needed. One gripe only would be the shower was lacking in pressure so hair wash was longer than usual.

Ocean view could do with a little bit of TLC with decoration, there wasn’t enough equipment to cook with and definitely need to save 1 or 2 pound coins to top up the electric meter. However the location was fabulous and it was great to do the coastal walk from Widemouth bay to Bude, there is also a lovely pub a few hundred yards away with a great sea view. Ocean view was fine for a weekend stay. I do feel that it deserves its 3 star rating and you shouldn’t expect anything more. We had a bit of a problem getting in as the key safe didn’t actually have its key in and we needed to go to reception to get a spare and this was lucky as the the holiday village was shutting if we hadn’t of arrived on the last day it was open I am not sure what we would have done. If your expecting to use the swimming pool/ sauna etc make sure you go in the holiday time. Overall we had a lovely time at ocean view

Excellent views and location, however cottage was filthy, shower curtain full of mould and bed so uncomfortable, definetly needs updating and good clean.

    Our stay September, 2019

Fantastic view of the beach , but shop was empty of goods , didn't bother with the entertainment, I know they only had another 3 weeks till end of season but they was not bothered. Lucky we were out all day , it was no good for anyone with old or disabled people as there was some steep steps to the apartment.

    Our stay September, 2019

On arrival reception was closed at 3.30. Found No. 80 opened front door and was greeted by a damp foisty smell. Fridge had not been cleaned, cobwebs in corners of ceiling, dirty tissue behind tv. One of sofas the back was broken and the seat collapsed, clothes left in drawers (underwear) poor quality bedding.Walls touched up with different colour emulsion. Overall property is in desperate need of refurbishment with central heating installed. We left on Thursday 2 days early, couldn’t put up with it for a week, beach is not 200 yards away as stated more like a mile

We came back from a wonderful week away on Saturday. The accommodation was perfect for our family of 4 plus doggie. Location is beautiful and is next to the Atlantic Highway and so makes it easy to access all of Cornwall. Will be booking again for next year. Thank you!!

The cottage and overall site needs updating. You needed to pay extra for your electricity into a metre which after what you pay to go already is a bit much. location and view are great though!

  • Ian - Failsworth 27th June 2019

    Our stay June, 2019

I think having paid quite a lot of money for our holiday and finding the reception closed all week then having to carry our luggage quite a distance and on opening the chalet to find you had to pay for the electric I feel this should be explained when booking is made. I feel quite annoyed as our holiday was spoilt by this and we had to come home early because the bed was really uncomfortable Hoping something can be resolved by this Thanks

  • Daniel - Sevenoaks 21st April 2019

    Our stay April, 2019

The accommodation was fine perhaps a little and in need of a bit or refurbishment. The view form the property was really good. The beach is certainly walkable, but we had small children which struggled with this distance. Even so a good all rounder for value for money.
