This first floor beach style apartment sits amid the owner’s landscaped garden but enjoys its own private terrace and sitting-out area. The apartment has superb views across Porth Island and beach and out to sea from the living room. This quiet spot is a few minutes stroll to Porth Beach, with its beachside pub, rock pools, caves, café and shop. Porth is a small, quiet bay between Newquay and Watergate Bay . The Eden Project, Padstow, with Rick Steins restaurants, Crealy Adventure Park, St Ives and Truro are all within easy reach. Shops 800 yards, pubs and restaurants 200 yards.

A very lovely flat behind the owner's garden. They are very warm and welcoming people. The beach is within a short walking distance and the flat has a nice view to the sea. In the kitchen there is everything you need for cooking like home and the bath is small but excellent. We recommend the flat for relaxin holidays.

Double bed was extremely soft and lacked support. Should consider replacing. Cutlery lacked forks (only 4 available). We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Drifters. Thanks to our hosts.

Wonderful property with great owners and a great base to explore magical Cornwall. Just a few minutes walk down the hill to the beach or enjoy a cliff walk (or run if energetic). This property was so lovely, we could have honestly lived here. We visited the property with our two little boys and everyone loved their stay.

Delightful garage conversion apartment located within walking distance of Porth Beach and an excellent base to explore the North Cornish Coast. Tucked up behind the owner's property, it feels very private and secluded with a nice view over the beach head. We received a very warm welcome and the owners were super friendly. We arrived to find some milk and yummy chocolate cookies, so could make a much needed cuppa right away. Really well presented inside and stunningly clean, with a beautifully finished bathroom and decent sized TV (sounds trivial but it's important when the weather is grim!). Couldn't really fault it, save for the bed being a little soft for our liking but you can't please everyone. There is also an outside tap to wash down wetsuits... bonus!
