Welcome to Cornerways! A surprising period cottage set in a small village of St Just-in-the Roseland, a little distance from St Mawes. The cottage is a perfect holiday destination for a family, couples or friends to enjoy. As you enter the property you immediately feel welcome by the character spacious living/dining room with a feature wood burner and plenty of seating with reclining sofa, a TV, and a dining table for all the family to enjoy a meal together. The galley style kitchen is well-equipped with everything you need to cook an evening meal.
On the first floor at the front of the cottage is a lovely character double bedroom with wardrobes and storage and the single bedroom is access through this room and can be used for an extra guest or perhaps a child ideal for a family to use. At the rear of the cottage is the spacious bright master bedroom with wardrobes, TV and a modern en-suite shower room.
The rear paved courtyard area has seating for the family to either enjoy breakfast or perhaps a BBQ or a summer evening meal. There is a shared rear access gate to the side road which is idea if you need to bring a bike or surfboard into the courtyard. The parking for this cottage is either street parking to the side road with gate access to the garden or across the road opposite the cottage in a public car park.
Located on the west of the beautiful Roseland Peninsula, a few miles north of St Mawes St Just-in-Roesland. It is a verdant village of manicured gardens and pretty cottages leading down to the woodlands and creeks by the Percuil River. The village is best known for the 13th century church of St Just the Martyr. Overlooking St Just Pool, a tree lined creek, the church is set in an amphitheatre like graveyard filled with an array of colourful sub-tropical plants and shrubs, a botanical project started over 100 years ago. Few places in Cornwall can compare with the Roseland Peninsula, one of the most picturesque and unspoilt parts of the British Isles.
Lovely beaches and cliffs, delightful rivers and pretty villages and countryside hamlets, all make the Roseland the perfect holiday setting. There are many beaches such as Towan, Porthkirnick, Pendower and Portholland to explore along with the vast array of walks. The very popular coastal village of St Mawes is a short drive or pleasant walk away with a variety of shops pubs and restaurants.
