Peacefully located in the hamlet of Tregatta are these two lovely cottages, located just a short distance from mystical Tintagel, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Surrounded by historic fishing villages, beautiful beaches and open countryside as well as a fine selection of restaurants, pubs and shops and the famous ruins of King Arthur’s castle, Camelot. The cottages are in a perfect location for walkers, just a short distance from the South West Coastal Path with Tintagel Castle a little further away.
Trewethen Farm - The Coach House is a two bedroom property boasting a large orchard garden with shared use of a six-seater Canadian Spa hot tub and outdoor seating. A great space for enjoying an al fresco meal or a glass of wine in the sunshine. Panoramic views over open fields can be enjoyed from the double bedroom and sea views from parking area. There is a spacious and comfortably furnished living and dining area which has a TV with Freeview and an Amazon Firestick, perfect for a relaxing night in after a busy day exploring the area. This leads into the well-equipped kitchen and there is also a handy separate toilet. Upstairs there are two cosy bedrooms and a shower room. The first bedroom has a double bed and a door opening out onto a balcony area which also has steps accessing the garden. The second bedroom has a bunk bed and a single bed, perfect for accommodating a family.
Trewethan Farm - The Granary is a three bedroom property accommodating up to five guests with an open plan living/dining area and a large front garden which is a great space for enjoying an al fresco meal or a glass of wine in the sunshine. Panoramic views over open fields can be enjoyed from the double and twin rooms and sea views from parking area. There is a spacious and comfortably furnished living and dining area which has plenty of seating, a Smart TV and open fire perfect for a relaxing night in after a busy day exploring the area. This leads into the well-equipped kitchen and there is also a handy separate toilet. Upstairs there are three cosy bedrooms and a shower room. The first bedroom has a double bed, the second has twin beds and the third bedroom has a single bed and a shower cubicle inside the room.
Sandy beaches are within a few minutes’ drive and close by are the picturesque villages of Boscastle to the north and Port Isaac, made famous by the TV series ’Doc Martin’. Polzeath, Rock and Padstow, home to Rick Stein’s famous seafood restaurant are to the south. This is a great location for exploring all of Cornwall including the Eden Project, and some of the stunning gardens on the south coast. For the more adventurous, why not try the cycle trails at Cardinham Woods, blue and red runs, or hire a bicycle and cycle along the Camel Trail or walk the excellent coastal paths with stunning views.
