Stonie Broke Barn - Facilities

Welcome to the delightfully named Stonie Broke Barn, the ideal retreat where you can relax and recharge, surrounded by rolling hills and countryside views and within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Wildlife including deer, owls and birds of prey are often seen in this unspoilt and magical place. Thoughtfully renovated throughout, this ground floor barn is welcoming from the get-go, cosy with a stylish open plan kitchen/living space and steeple beams above. There is a sofa just willing you to sink into it after a busy day exploring the area, TV and super-fast broadband throughout the property.
There are two sumptuous bedrooms with quality linens, offering a bright and calming space where a good night’s sleep beckons. The kingsize bedroom has patio doors leading to your private garden seating area, ideal for morning coffee, al fresco dining or perhaps your favourite beverage at the day’s end as the sun drops below the horizon and the magnificent starry sky stretches above. The second bedroom has double bed and offers the same comfort, light and space. A truly stunning modern wet room is provided, beautifully tiled with oodles of room. Outside, feel free to enjoy the 3 acres of land. A lovely area with fire-pit and folding chairs, when the weather permits, is a favourite place, perhaps toast some marshmallows as the lights twinkle around you, share stories and tales or plan tomorrow’s great adventure!
Stonie Broke Barn is a few miles from the ancient town of Liskeard with its array of shops, cafés and restaurants. It is also a short drive from the historic, bustling harbour town of Looe and picturesque Polperro, with it’s legendary tales of smuggling and quaint cottages, there is a plethora of things to do. Beaches, inlets, coves and breath-taking walks await, whilst the naval city of Plymouth, with it’s endless attractions, is just 30 minutes’ across the famous Tamar Bridge, itself a gateway to the green and glorious county of Devon.
