The superbly named Mooey Cottage and Dairy Cottage provide a great haven to get away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Nestling within the stunning Southeast of Cornwall countryside, these holiday homes are perfectly placed to and explore the best of both Devon and Cornwall. The beauty of the Tamar Valley an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is practically on your doorstep and is truly picturesque in all seasons. Dartmoor National Park is a short drive away, with rolling green hills and breath taking vistas whilst the historic naval city of Plymouth, with its plethora of restaurants, bars, shops and attractions is just along the coast. Go West and discover the rugged coastline of Cornwall where ancient Looe and Polperro await, steeped in tales of smugglers and wrecking and where the old cottages abound and narrow streets are a joy to wander. Beaches are plentiful in the area, with both Downderry and Seaton within a short drive and many inlets and coves, cliff top walks and coastal paths just waiting to be found.
Mooey Cottage accommodates four guests in comfort with two bedrooms, one with double bed and en-suite, the other with twin beds, a family bathroom with bath and shower over complete your abode. Dairy Cottage accommodates six guests in cosy comfort with three bedrooms, one with double bed and en-suite, one with twin beds and a third with traditional bunk bed, are a welcome place to recharge and drift into peaceful sleep. A family bathroom with bath and shower over completes this lovely cottage. Both cottages have open plan living/dining room offering an immediate welcome, with character and charm in abundance; soft furnishings to sink into after a busy day of adventures await and a TV to catch up on the day’s events. The well-equipped kitchens provide all the essentials for preparing that all important meal. Along with a private garden space perfect for enjoying a beverage or two at the end of the day watching the sun go down as you relax, immersing yourself in the sights and sounds of this magnificent county adds to this wonderful place. By separate arrangement, the owners have a truly fabulous boat named Merlin and if available and weather dependant would be pleased to arrange a scenic trip around part of the coastline, where dolphins often come to play, and the sea-life is quite extraordinary.
