  • Impett - Basingstoke 24th February 2020

    Our stay February, 2020

Very cosy cottage with a lovely sea view! The enclosed garden for our dog was very much appreciated especially with the changeable weather after storm Dennis. In that respect we were very lucky and managed to dodge the rain and visit Port Isaac, Padstow, Boscastle ,Rock, Bude and the National trust lanhydrock during our stay. All of which lived up to expectations.

We had a great time . The accommodation was in a great location - with parking and only a short walk to amazing places to shop and eat locally.

Little beside a little jewel in the port Issac crown . Up our arrival we were met with fresh scones and clotted cream with a welcome card from the owners , a nice touch . The cottage was immaculate and well appointed with beautiful views from the rear . There is a parking space allocated right outside the front door which was much appreciated. The bed linen was all fresh and towels likewise . Can’t fault it , would love to come again . And if you are a fan of doc Martin the filming location is a short walk away and well worth a visit .

Beautiful cottage with everything you might need for you stay. Gorgeous views with a great (dog friendly) garden. We booked for proximity to Restaurant Nathan Outlaw but is a great base for walks around Port Isaac and Port Gaverne - and by car for the rest of Cornwall. Owners are lovely, super helpful without being intrusive. Cottage was SPOTLESS. Well stocked co-op close by and plenty of restaurants and little shops. Loved our stay can't wait to come back!

We had an amazing stay here. The cottage is beautifully furnished with the most comfy bed I have ever slept in in a holiday rental. A lovely cream tea on arrival and the hosts who live next door Jane and Adam could not have been any more accommodating! We will definitely return if we are lucky enough to find availability in the future.
