Holm - Facilities

This detached property makes an ideal holiday base and benefits from being located only a few hundred metres from the heart of Mevagissey within a short stroll of the harbour. Sandy beaches and isolated coves dominate the coastline and provide a truly beautiful natural attraction. The tiny port of Mevagissey has retained its picturesque character with its harbour and back drop of flower-draped fishermen’s cottages amid a maze of narrow alleys, with local craft and gift shops and galleries aplenty. Within a short radius are two of Cornwall’s most iconic attractions; The Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan. Shop and pub 350 yards.

Fantastic cottage, great facilities, made us feel like at home.

Beautiful cottage. It had everything we wanted and more. Welcoming cake, scones and cream left for us on arrival. We arrived late on a very wet and windy night and the owners very thoughtfully left the main lights on for us when we arrived, the cottage was also lovely and warm. We would not hesitate to recommend this cottage to anyone. It really did feel like a home.

Location of the cottage is great but the walk from the town is very steep and the parking difficult if you have a large car. The cottage itself is lovely and has everything you could need. Would stay again.

We enjoyed our stay in Holm and found it to be clean and well-equipped - the photos don't do it justice. We were pleasantly surprised by the kitchen/diner which wasn't pictured and the sitting out area which was a private little sun-trap. There were a couple of things that would make it perfect - a blind on the velux in the main bedroom and an upstairs shower - but these wouldn't stop us staying there again. The cream tea items on arrival were much appreciated!

Great place to stay in a good location. The property is in excellent condition; fresh, clean, well designed. Furniture, beds, kitchen equipment etc all really good. We have rented quite a few places over the years, and this is certainly the best so far.

Holm is a very comfortable cottage. The shower is not powerful enough, could do with a better shower. Parking is not very easy.
