Its sports facilities include a superb 18-hole golf course, tennis and squash courts, Splash leisure centre and ten pin bowling. Delightful walking can be found nearby on the picturesque North Cornwall Coastal Footpath, and also along the towpath of Bude’s canal – 3 miles of quiet level walking of special interest to wildlife and birdlife lovers which begins ½ mile from the property and leads to Summerleaze Beach in Bude. Fishing is also available in the canal, and horse riding nearby. Further afield, but within easy driving distance, are the historic coastal villages of Boscastle, Tintagel, Hartland Quay and Clovelly. Shop and fish and chips takeaway ½ mile away, pub 1½ miles.
