This pretty cottage, one of a pair, set amidst the deep countryside of this beautiful county, provides the ideal holiday retreat for either relaxing or as a base to explore the delights of this dramatic and unique county. Only 4 miles from the A30 which provides links to all over Cornwall and makes it easy to visit Land’s End in the west along with St Ives, Penzance and over to Fowey, Newquay and Padstow to the east. The Eden Project is close by, 5½ miles, the Lost Gardens of Heligan is only 5 miles, and the wonderful working sailing ship port of Charlestown only 6 miles. Truro, the commercial capital, is close by and has a theatre, cinema, museum and an abundance of shops, bars and restaurants along with river trips down to Falmouth on the south coast. Lanjeth Riding School and coarse fishing at Glenleigh Farm, both 2 miles, and golf is available nearby. Shops and pub 1 mile.

Lovely cottage - welcome pack on arrival was gratefully received, cottage has all you need and it is very well situated for exploring all of Cornwall. Welcoming and friendly hosts. We will definitely return!!

Had a fab time at Hay cottage, was greeted on arrival by Graham the owner who was very welcoming. The welcome pack in the cottage was also nice touch, Hay Cottage is a nice quiet place to stay and a perfect base to explore Cornwall from.

Gorgeous cottage set in typical Cornish country lanes. Great location for getting to west Cornwall. Due to the lanes it’s not easy/safe to walk anywhere. Well equipped cottage and very comfortable. Highly recommended!

Lovely cottage. Fully equipped with everything needed. Owners very nice and friendly. Close to st stephen village with a pleasant pub and a local store. Welcome pack on arrival a nice touch. Thanks

On arrival a good stocked welcome pack, and a lovely bunch of, roses (which was very nice as it was our 40th).The cottage had everything we needed apart from a dishwasher. Good location to explore Cornwall.
