Driftwood - Reviews

  • Michelle - York 14th January 2020

    Our stay January, 2020

Beautiful cottage in the perfect location. We stayed over new year and had great weather too. The cottage has everything you need, bed is very comfortable and plenty of room for clothes. The deck area was a nice addition and would be lovely in the summer. Lovely hosts and the welcome pack and flowers were a nice touch. We spent two days without using the car as lovely coast walks in both directions directly from the beach. A lovely base to come back to after a days walking. Would recommend.

This is great property for a couple who want to get away from it all, a bolt hole that has everything you could want with easy access for coastal walks. It is within 30 meters of a fantastic beach and an ideal base to explore the rest of Cornwall.

We had such an amazing holiday in such a lovely cottage! From the welcome pack to the sea view, everything was absolutely perfect. Thanks so much - already recommended you to my friends and family and we will definitely be booking in the future!

    Our stay September, 2019

This was an excellent bolt hole from which to explore Cornwall and in good weather you have the choice of the beach (literally 1 minutes walk away) or your deck from which you had a lovely view of the sea. I felt very welcome from the off with advanced communication from Tracey the host ensuring she would be there to meet me. This followed up with a lovely welcome pack and flowers. She was on hand to answer any queries to back up her informative folder within the actual cottage which itself had all you could want or need to make your stay a real home from home. Driftwood is a cottage for 2 but Tracey also showed me around the stable which is a cottage for 4 also done to the same high standard as Driftwood. You can see by the comments in the visitors book that I am not alone in giving this location a glowing recommendation

  • Paul - Stoke On Trent 11th June 2019

    Our stay June, 2019

this property is ideally situated yards from beach, cafes, restaurants etc. the property is ideal for 2 although the bathroom could be bigger and the living area could do with a sky light as this area feels dark if you are in the property for any length of time due to weather.

    Our stay May, 2019

Superb location just yards from Porth Beach. Owner really helpful recommending places to eat and great clifftop walks. Decking area superb for views of the beach and cliffs and a glass or 2 of wine as the sun sets. Would recommend to friends and family.

Lovely and tasteful little cottage. Everything you need is there. The hosts are very welcoming. Scones jam and clotted cream in a welcome pack. Also they supplied butter, eggs, bread & milk for us too and a lovely fresh vase of flowers. Great location for getting out and about. Highly recommended.

  • Rachel - Toton, Nottingham 1st May 2020

    Our stay February, 2020

Beautiful cottage perfect for two. Great being almost on the beach and great location for touring the coast and inland Cornwall. We went in February half term so the local tearoom was closed . Plenty of places open further afield . Would highly recommend. Our host was lovely and we really appreciated the local produce welcome pack. Thank you.
