The coastal path is easily reached from the front door as is Tregardock beach. The glorious surfing beach of Trebarwith Strand, perfect for families and dog walkers alike, is only a short drive or an energetic walk away. This is the 4th time we have been to backways and have always enjoyed the experience however this year we were extremely disappointed that a large fence had been put up in the garden spoiling the fantastic view of the sea. Considering going somewhere different for our summer break. Real shame

Lovely cottage with views very clean. They left milk for us to have along with a bottle of wine and even a few dog biscuits for our dogs would definitely go back.owners helpful with queries we had

Delighted with the cottage; very tastefully furnished, clean and very cosy. Lovely gardens front and rear, the front with a magnificent view across the cliffs to the sea. Everything you could possibly need was supplied from plenty of towels to fresh coffee, tea and milk for a very welcome cuppa after a long drive. The only downside, and this is a very small niggle, is that there are no amenities in the village so you have to drive anywhere for supplies or a pub! Such a relaxing stay.
